Cheque book serviced ASTON MARTIN DBS V12 with touchtronic transmission and low mileage in very attractive condition.

INQUIRY ABOUT THIS VEHICLE

Even before the actual world premiere of the model, the DBS V12 made its first appearance in a James Bond film: in “Casino Royale” with Daniel Craig, the new coupé could already be seen in spectacular driving scenes before it was officially delivered to the ordering first owners via the Aston Martin contractual partners from 2007 onwards. The media launch pad certainly couldn’t have been better. The DBS was produced at the new Aston Martin plant in Gaydon – but without the special agent equipment of the film vehicle…

This example was delivered in July 2009 via the Aston Martin dealership in Kronberg. The customer combined the paintwork in “storm black” with an interior of leather/Alcantara in “obsidian black” and dashboard in “piano black” – the dark colour scheme makes the masculine sports car even more visually aggressive. The dynamic body of the DBS was largely made of carbon fibre to reduce weight and featured the typical Aston air vents in the front wings.

For the first time, the chassis of an Aston Martin was equipped with ceramic brakes and supported by an adaptive damper system with various driving programmes. Power transmission in this car is via the touchtronic automatic, which was an extra charge at the time, and which sends the 517 hp of the optimised 6-litre V12 front engine from the in-house motorsport department to the rear wheels. If required, the DBS with 570 Nm of torque accelerates from a standstill to 100 in 4.3 seconds and only finds its limits at 305 km/h due to air resistance…

The interior of the car is factory fitted with special sports seats with the model name embroidered into the Alcantara and a redesigned centre console. Aluminium and carbon fibre have been used extensively. This coupé has a 2+2 configuration, with the space behind the driver’s seats really only offering itself as a storage area for hand luggage. The feeling of sitting in a road-legal race car is reinforced by the narrowness of the cockpit and the clearly perceptible acoustics of the brute-pushing twelve-cylinder engine.

INQUIRY ABOUT THIS VEHICLE

The DBS has been in the hands of the current owner since spring 2018. The car has been serviced by its owners in accordance with factory specifications and currently has a mileage of just over 32tkm. It received a further service in September 2020 at Aston Martin’s dealership Penske in Hamburg. The leather-bound on-board folder and the model-specific accessories such as umbrella, car cover etc. are fully present.

During its five-year production period, 2,533 DBS coupés were manufactured. Fortunately, most of them were spared a fate like in “Casino Royale” (with 7 rollovers). This car impresses with its very well-maintained overall condition, its complete service history and the particularly beautiful aura it is given by its colour scheme – a modern Aston with collector’s potential.
